ICYDK: OMSMPC Provides Your Sales Invoices

Sales invoices are essential business documents that serve as proof of a transaction between a seller and buyer, documenting the products or services provided, quantity, and price. All businesses, whether online or physical, must issue a sales invoice or receipt to their customers. Sales invoices must be complete, accurate, promptly issued, and include a clear payment due date.
Individual sellers on Lazada need not worry about invoicing requirements as the Online Micro Sellers Multipurpose Cooperative (OMSMPC) provides sales invoices for its members. The COOP can issue a soft or hard copy of the proof of purchase if a buyer requests a sales invoice from a member seller.

How to request for a Sales Invoice?

Step 1: Fill out the OMSMPC Sales Invoice Request Form.

Step 2: Input all correct member details, buyer’s request, order numbers, etc.

Step 3: Soft copies are sent via email within two business days and hard copies within five business days.

Benefits of Sales Invoice

  1. Proof of Transaction: Sales invoices provide proof that a transaction has taken place between the seller and the buyer.
  2. Record-keeping: Sales invoices are essential records that document transactions between sellers and buyers, including details of goods or services sold, quantities, prices, and payment terms.
  3. Returns and exchanges: In case of any returns or exchanges, the sales invoice provides important proof of purchase, which will help the cooperative process the request quickly and accurately.
  4. Tracking sales trends: A sales invoice can be used to track sales trends and make informed business decisions.
Issuing a sales invoice benefits both the seller and the buyer. For the seller, it provides a record of the transaction and serves as evidence of the sale for accounting purposes. Meanwhile, the buyer can use it as proof of purchase.

Overall, sales invoices are a vital component of all business transactions, promoting confidence and ensuring accurate financial records for both parties.
