As the new year begins, cooperatives also start preparations for their annual General Assembly and election of new officers, providing members with a chance to review the past year's performance.

Online Micro Sellers Multipurpose Cooperative is set to hold its yearly gathering via live stream on Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with the theme "BEYOND LIMITS: OMSMPC 4th Annual General Assembly and Election."

|
The Annual General Assembly serves as a crucial platform for members to evaluate progress and elect new leadership. During the event, members will evaluate financial performance, review proposed amendments, and receive updates from the board of directors on financial status, strategic priorities, and proposed budgets for the upcoming year.

|
|
Aside from performance reviews, the election of officers is a vital aspect of this year's General Assembly. Regular Members Entitled to Vote (RMEV) will elect new members of the Board of Directors, the Audit Committee, and the Election Committee. The Election Committee has meticulously evaluated the candidates for each position according to our By-Laws and Election Policies. Members will vote for their preferred candidates via the enhanced OMSMPC Election Tool. More information will follow as the event approaches.

The annual General Assembly and Election hold significant value for both cooperatives and their members. It allows members to assemble and discuss the cooperative's progress, aims, and objectives. It is also an opportunity for members to vote for new officers who will steer the cooperative's future direction.
