​OMSMPC signs MOU with FPSDC for
New Services

As Online Micro Multipurpose Cooperative opens more opportunities for growth and advancement, the organization recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Federation of Peoples' Sustainable Development Cooperative (FPSDC) to set up a savings and credit operations program and to provide consulting services to our cooperative.
In line with our goal to increase opportunities for growth and development, OMSPMC collaborates with FPSDC for general direction and support in establishing a savings and credit operations program. Our members will soon have access to savings and credit services that will further help them achieve their financial goals.

The MOU was signed on October 22, 2022, with the OMSMPC Board of Directors, management, and representatives from FPSDC.

2022 Metro Manila Cooperative Congress

OMSMPC participated in the 2022 Metro Manila Cooperative Congress, which was held on October 20, 2022, at the Crown Plaza Manila Galleria.

Our cooperative was represented by our Board of Directors: Ms. Bea Carreon, Ms. Luisa Pua, Mr. Bryan Anastacio, Mr. Jeffrey Ligutom, and Treasurer Ms. Yolanda Lopez. Mr. Paolo Olis, general manager of OMSMPC, is also present, as is Mr. JP Cario, compliance associate, and a representative from the community engagement team.
The 2022 Metro Manila Cooperative Congress, with the theme “Cooperatives: Responding to the Signs of the Times,” is an annual event that gathers cooperative leaders around Metro Manila in hopes of encouraging nation-building and sustainable development in the country through cooperative goals, values, and principles.

Philippine E-commerce Congress 2022

The Department of Trade (DTI), in partnership with the Philippine Bar Association, launched the first-ever eCommerce Congress of the Philippines at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) on November 4, 2022.

The eCommerce Congress, with the theme “Confidence in e-Commerce!" focused on the foundation of cooperation between the national government and private e-commerce stakeholders. Government officials graced the event, including representatives from the Department of Trade and Industry in partnership with the Philippine Bar Association.
Among the eCommerce companies at the event were Lazada Philippines, Meta, the Alliance of Tech Innovations for the Nation, Food Panda, Zalora, Grab, and many others.
OMSMPC had the opportunity to join the congress and hear the current efforts and plans of both the government and private stakeholders in advancing e-commerce in the Philippines.

Union Of Defense And Public Safety Cooperatives Sports Fest 2022

UDPSC sports fest
The Union of Defense and Public Safety Cooperatives, or UDPSC, held its annual sports festival among its member cooperatives for the whole month of November. The Sports Fest kicked off last November 5 when participating cooperatives assembled at the Taguig City University Auditorium. Twenty-six cooperatives joined the Parade of Colors and cheered for their muse and representatives.
Zumba, Larong Pinoy, and many other games were played by the participants. Other sports events include badminton, chess, darts, table tennis, bowling, and e-sports like Mobile Legend.
