OMSMPC celebrates the World Cooperative Month 2022

The Cooperative Movement has progressed significantly in its more than 100 years of existence. The Cooperative has witnessed worldwide success and challenges along the way, but the principles and values embedded in every member have kept the movement thriving.
|
|
|
To honor its value throughout the year, October is celebrated as World Cooperative Month. The Cooperative Development Authority, the government agency that governs all cooperatives in the Philippines, has initiated activities and programs to recognize their contribution to our country.
|
|
With the theme, “KooPinas: Nagkakaisang Lakas Para sa Makabuluhan at Sama-Samang Pag-Unlad!”, CDA aims not only to celebrate every cooperative but also to uphold solidarity and cooperativism among Filipinos.
|
|
Online Micro Sellers Multipurpose Cooperative (OMSMPC) joins this celebration by taking part in CDA-initiated activities and also crafting programs dedicated to its members, including a Data Privacy webinar, a series of Lakbay Aral for OMSMPC Officers, and exclusive training on basic photography and advanced Excel. Here are the other activities.

OMSMPC also launched exciting activities that are "firsts" in our community. Recently, we had the first-ever OMSMPC COOPlympics, where members participated in a friendly competition of chess, badminton, and a fun run.
|
|
The COOP will also host the first-ever Microsellers Bazaar where members can sell, promote, and #elevate their products as part of OMSMPC’s 5th Anniversary celebration.
|
|
|
|
|
OMSMPC Microsellers Bazaar will happen on October 29 and 30, 2022, Saturday and Sunday, at Estancia Mall, Ortigas, Pasig City, from 9 AM to 9 PM.
