Leadership Orientation and Values Enhancement

Maya Angelou once said, “If you’re going to live, leave a legacy. Make a mark on the world that can’t be erased." This is a simple yet relevant quote proving that living with a purpose is the most valuable thing one can do.

This can also be related to the leadership cycle in every organization. Identifying and training potential leaders is pertinent in keeping an organization going—and that’s just what OMSMPC envisions for itself.

OMSMPC, through the Election Committee, launched the OMSMPC COOP L.O.V.E.-Leadership Orientation and Values Enhancement Program. Selected Regular Members Entitled to Vote (RMEV) for the calendar year 2022 were invited to join this exclusive program. On October 7, the first batch of COOP L.O.V.E. was conducted, covering an in-depth discussion and technical orientation.

COOP L.O.V.E. is a month-long leadership development program exclusive to OMSMPC RMEV who have the potential to be the next leaders of our cooperative. Every quarter, twenty-five (25) participants will undergo four comprehensive modules starting in 2022. The COOP L.O.V.E modules are as follows:

Module II - Basic Cooperative Governance and Management
Module III - Strategic Planning Workshop
Module IV - Leadership Conference and Graduation
