On August 30, 2022, Lazada Philippines celebrated its annual 9.9 Mega Brands Sale Seller Conference at The Grand Hyatt Hotel in BGC, Taguig. With the theme #FocusForward, the event is in preparation for one of Lazada’s biggest campaigns—the 9.9 Mega Brands Sale. The event highlighted the journeys of notable business owners and entrepreneurs who inspired everyone by sharing their strategies for sustaining their businesses in the face of the pandemic's difficulties.

With over 400 seller attendees, this year's Seller Conference was positively received as being Lazada’s second face-to-face event since the pandemic. Sellers, members, officers, and staff of Online Micro Sellers Multipurpose Cooperative also participated in the event.

Mr. Carlos Barrera, Lazada Philippines CEO, thanked the sellers for their outstanding performance in the first half of the year. As we reach the year's second half, he encouraged everyone to “keep going, especially in the final months of 2022." He went on to say that Lazada has been investing heavily in increasing buyer loyalty through item promotions, free shipping, cash back, and other campaigns.
