CDA x OMSMPC: Koop Kapatid Program MOA Signing

Koop Kapatid1
The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and OMSMPC jointly signed a Memorandum of Agreement for our participation in the Koop Kapatid Program—an initiative of the CDA formerly known as the “Big Brother-Small Brother" Program. This program allows Big Brother Cooperatives (as partners) to extend assistance to Small Brother Cooperatives (as beneficiaries).
On September 6, 2022, OMSMPC signed two MOAs for the CDA Koop Kapatid Program at the CDA-Manila Extension Office. OMSMPC will act as the partner cooperative for the following beneficiary cooperatives:
  • Army Lakambini Consumers Cooperative (ALCC)—a cooperative among spouses of Army officers that aims to improve the general welfare of army families.
  • Life Source Multi-Purpose Cooperative (LSMPC)—a cooperative that produces and distributes FDA-approved health products such as mixed herb food supplement syrups.
