Handling Disputes in the Cooperative

The Mediation and Conciliation Committee, or MedCon, is the committee that facilitates the amicable settlement of internal disputes among members, officers, directors, and committee members.
This Committee was intended to mediate, hear, and resolve all intra-cooperative disputes between or among members, officers, directors, and the general assembly. It implements special rules and procedures addressing conciliation processes as deemed appropriate and subject to approval by the General Assembly. This is done to guarantee the prompt, just, equitable, and cost-effective resolution of disputes within the cooperative.

MedCon comprises three (3) members appointed by the Board of Directors. They choose among themselves the chairperson, vice chairperson, and secretary, who then serve for a one-year term. For Calendar Year 2022 - 2023, the appointed OMSMPC Mediation and Conciliation Committee officers are;

How to Request Action for Mediation and Conciliation?

Any member of the Online Micro Sellers Multipurpose Cooperative may request action for mediation and conciliation.

A written request or complaint must contain the following details:
  1. Name of the complainant
  2. Contact information of the complainant
  3. Name of the respondent
  4. Contact information of the respondent.
  5. A narration of the facts or statement of issues relevant to the complaint
Members may send their written request or complaint to the Mediation and Conciliation Committee via email at mediation@microsellerscooperative.com. They may also personally submit their appeal to any officer in our office in BGC, Taguig.
